Installation of the OSS of the Kaskasi Wind Farm

Eight years after installing the offshore jackets and substations in the adjacent windfarms (Amrumbank West & Nordsee Ost; both installed with HLV Rambiz in 2014) and only a couple of hours after the OSS foundation was available, SCALDIS had completed the installation of the OSS of the Kaskasi wind farm in the North Sea (German Bight).

The operation was executed as a single crane lift by HLV Gulliver on DP2.

This job marks the start of the 2022 offshore season for Scaldis, soon to be followed by a decommissioning campaign in the North Sea.

Later this year HLV Gulliver is planned to do a similar topside installation in the Baltic Sea.
