Rampion Offshore Substation Installed

On April 17th, 7 months after installing the jacket, Scaldis has successfully installed the Rampion topside onto the jacket. Scaldis’ Heavy Lift Vessel Rambiz installed the 2,000 tonnes substation thereby completing the transport and installation scope of the Rampion Offshore Substation (OSS).

Rampion Offshore Windfarm is being developed by E.ON Climate and Renewables, approximately 13km south of Brighton in the English Channel.
